Know of a Haunted House considered “safe” for pregnant women?
Please share here!
Many, if not most, haunted houses have policies warning pregnant women not to go through them. (Due to risks such as elevated blood pressure, falls, and even fumes.)
So what’s a haunted-house-loving pregnant woman to do?
She can talk to her doctor, do a little research, and make an educated decision once she knows the possible risks involved in the potential haunted house.
Obviously, some haunted houses are milder and safer than others. If in doubt, visit the website of the haunted house you’re interested in to get an idea of the scare level and any policy about pregnant women. Not seeing much helpful info? You can easily shoot off an email to the house owners with your concerns.
Additionally, here is my attempt to compile a list, by state, of the haunted houses that do permit pregnant women to go through them. But I need your help! Contact me in the comment box at the bottom of the page to recommend a haunted house that you would consider safe for a pregnant woman. (Please share any details on why you think it’s a good choice for pregnant women.) Thank you!
